A will is a will right? Not exactly, when it comes to preparing for your death there are a few different wills you can have. What are the differences?
Ethical Will- this is usual a final message to a love one. It can be in the form of a letter or short note attached to an estate will.
Living Will- this is when you are determined to have a terminal illness or are at the end-of-life and when you are no longer able to communicate your wishes. This is usually drawn up when you know you want to have DNR, or POA established by a family member or caregiver.
Estate Will- covers what will happen to your family and property after you die. Also known as just a " will" this is usually part of your estate planning process and can include the above wills in the documents.
Do you need a will? Short anwser...it is a great idea to have one or all three of these wills for your loved ones when you pass.
Let's set up a time to talk about your options and what might be the best options for you and your family.
